​Westfield Messages:

1.  Come on out to Westfield's Indigo Night tonight between 6:30-8.  Hear some read alouds, shop early for Christmas gifts, get your face painted, win some prizes, and have some fun!  Wear some Westfield Clothing if you can.  We would like to make our presence known!

2.   It is September and when all the kids get in one place the usual things start happening....lice, colds, stomach issues, and in the last couple of days we have students staying home and seeking treatment for impetago and hand-foot-mouth disease.  Symptoms can appear a few days after the exposure so often times parents do not know someone has it until they appear .  Let the office know if your child comes down with things like this.  We do have students who are medically fragile and we want them to be informed so that they can make decisions about attendance.

3.  Mad Science and Estey Art programs are taking place after school in upcoming days.  Students must be picked up after these programs.  We do not put the K-2 students on busses since many of our busses are at capacity.

4.  Please remember to send in forks and spoons for your child should they require them at lunch.  We can not continue to supply the large number of utensils.

5.  We are happy to have many volunteers helping out in various ways around our school.  Please remember that we need to have yearly criminal record checks done and a questionaire completed regarding Policy 701 - The Safety and Protection of Pupils.  Let me know if you need any additional information about this.

6.  Remember to use the new student drop off when dropping students off in the morning.  I am the one usually over there and even if they are KINDERGARTEN, I can still get them over to their proper lineups.  It does not matter if the K-2 playground is closer to the other side.

7.  Please remember to pay your school fees - I will be making calls in October to those parents who have not paid to see if a payment plan in required.
